SAFETY TRAINING
Workplace safety training is as vital as workplace safety itself. It enables the management to ensure a safe and healthy work environment. It also helps the employees to recognize safety hazards and correct them. It enables them to understand best safety practices and expectations.
Statutory Requirements - Section 6 (2) of The Occupational Safety, Health & Working Conditions Code 2020 insist the duties of an employer (in respect of factory, mines, dock, building or other construction work or plantation) for the provision of such information, instruction, training to ensure the health and safety of all employees at work.
Training Modules - There are different modules in Safety Training. Basic Safety Awareness, Subject Specific Training. e.g. Work Permit System, Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), Mechanical Material Handling, Working with moving machines.
